As chassidim get ready to bring the light of Chanukah to thousands of Yidden, community activist Rabbi Lazer Avtzon donated ten thousands mask to the Mitzvah Tank office for use on Mivtza Chanukah.

Accepting the masks was Rabbi Moshe Schmukler of the Mitzvah Tank Office. Rabbi Schmukler and Rabbi Mordy Hirsch are already hard at work preparing for Chanuka mivtzoim. Just today, they announced the date for the annual menorah car parade on Monday night the fifth night of Chanukah.

To date, Rabbi Avtzon has distributed over two million free masks to all Shuls and Mosdos in Crown Heights as well as to numerous Hatzalah and Bikur Cholim divisions throughout New York and New Jersey.
