Shluchos from around the world were empowered and recharged at the recent Chabad Early Childhood retreat of the Shluchim Office.

Shluchos who direct preschools joined together in Chicago, Illinois for three days of connection, relaxation and growth through learning new educational skills and concepts from insightful speakers and master educators.

“This was my first time joining the retreat, I came hoping it would be worth my while and it definitely was,” shared Mrs. Basie Gurkov, Shlucha to London, ON. “There was a great blend of well thought out, hands-on workshops, as well as conceptual workshops. All the food was delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented and the Farbrengan last night was so inspiring!”

In addition to the opportunity for Shluchos to network and connect, the program highlighted many hands-on workshops on all different methods and modes of education. The Shluchos got to relax with self care sessions and gain inspiration with beautiful Farbrengens and conversations throughout the retreat.

“Thank you for an amazing retreat,” wrote Mrs. Dvonye Korf, Shluchs to Los Angeles, CA. “All workshops and farbrengens were done so well and it was really nice to meet fellow Shluchos directors!”

Special thanks to the CEC team directed by Mrs. Rivky Baitelman with administration Miriam Luchins and Devorah Weiss, led by co-director of the Shluchim Office Mrs. Bassie Shemtov.
