Dozens of shluchim from across Italy gathered this week in Milan for a regional Kinus Hashluchim dedicated to strengthening shlichus, sharing ideas, and drawing renewed chizuk in their mission.

The kinus opened in the morning with breakfast as shluchim from communities throughout Italy reunited with friends and fellow shluchim. Welcoming remarks were delivered by head shliach Rabbi Avraham Chazan, while shliach Rabbi Yosef Chadad began the day with a shiur in the Rebbe’s Torah before the official sessions began.

A special highlight of the kinus was the participation of Rabbi Mendel Azimov, head shliach to France, who led two central sessions.

The first focused on shalom bayis and the chinuch of the children based on the Rebbe’s teachings, while the second addressed spreading Yiddishkeit and Chassidus to those around us. Rabbi Azimov shared practical advice, personal experiences, and guidance drawn from decades of shlichus.

One particularly moving session was an inspiration panel in which several shluchim discussed how to rise from difficult moments and transform struggles into opportunities for growth and renewed strength. Later, younger shluchim shared personal experiences and challenges from the field, leading to open and meaningful discussions among the participants.

Throughout the day, the shluchim exchanged ideas, advice, and successful programs from their respective communities.

The shluchim also gathered for a group photo before concluding the day with a gala dinner held at one of Milan’s Chabad houses.

The evening program focused on the value of the Rebbe’s shlichus in the current situation facing Italian Jewry. Participants heard from numerous distinguished speakers, including Volker Megnaghi, president of the Jewish community of Milan, and internationally known journalist Maurizio Molinari.

The kinus concluded with a spirited farbrengen led by Rabbi Mendel Azimov that continued late into the night, leaving the shluchim strengthened as they prepared to return to their communities across Italy.
