Mrs. Miriam Yuval (Teichman), who was the last living great-granddaughter of the Rebbe Maharash, passed away in Kibbutz Emek Yizr’el at the age of 91.
Mrs. Miriam Yuval (Teichman), who was the last living great-granddaughter of the Rebbe Maharash, passed away in Kibbutz Emek Yizr’el at the age of 91.
Mrs. Yuval was the daughter of R’ Shmuel Horenshtein, who was the son of R’ Moshe and Chaya Mushka Horenshtein, who was the daughter of the Rebbe Maharash and Rebbetzin Rivka.
Her father, R’ Shmuel Horenshtein HYD, perished in the Warsaw Ghetto in 5703 (1943). Her only brother, Uri Horenshtein HYD, perished that same year in the Treblinka concentration camp.
Her uncle, R’ Menachem Mendel Horenshtein HYD, was the husband of Rebbetzin Sheina HYD, daughter of the Frierdiker Rebbe, both of whom perished in Treblinka.
After the Holocaust, Mrs. Yuval made aliyah to Eretz Yisroel, where she lived a long life. She passed away recently at the ripe old age of 91.
She is survived by three daughters and one son, and grandchildren.

So this means that the only survivors who can trace themselves back to Beis Harav are the descendants of the Tzemach Tzedek? Or did she have children?
BH
The article says explictly that she had children. In addition, she had an aunt Mrs Rachel Landau (who fathers brother), who brought her up after the war, who also had progeny (one of her children was tragically murdered in the War in 1948).

What Hebrew date was she niftar? Was it actually Yud Gimmel Mar Cheshvan?
