Ohel Bus Service To Provide Buses For Gimmel Tamuz Weekend

To accommodate the largest influx of Ohel visitors of the year, the Ohel Bus will once again have buses departing from Crown Heights every half hour over the weekend of Gimmel Tammuz.

Every year, the Rebbe’s Ohel sees the sharpest uptake in visitors over Gimmel Tammuz every year. Hundreds of chassidim flock to Crown Heights to farbreng and reconnect on this special day, and of course, to visit the Ohel as well. The lines stretch for hours, filled with thousands of guests and locals waiting their turn to read their pan.

In a sicha from Yud Shevat, 5716, the Rebbe said, “Those who have visited the resting places of tzaddikim know that there are some places that have a solemn, constricting effect on the visitors, while others propel an uplifting and joyous mood. The Rebbe’s Ohel is of the latter category. Arriving at the Ohel, even before any contemplation, one’s mood is uplifted. The tone is joyful.”

To accommodate the largest influx of Ohel visitors of the year, the Ohel Bus will once again have buses departing from Crown Heights every half hour. Thanks to generous sponsors, the price of a round-trip ticket is merely $5.00. Buses will be departing regularly from the corner of Kingston Avenue and Eastern Parkway, in front of the JCM, from Thursday morning through Sunday night.

Buses will be departing every half hour on the following dates:
Thursday: 5:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Friday: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM (tickets between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM by reservation only)
Motzei Shabbos: 10:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Sunday: 5:30 AM – 10:00 PM
