Rabbi Zecharia and Rivkah Phillips have been appointed as Youth Director Shluchim for Chabad of Contra Costa, focusing on C-Teen, Youth Clubs and Preschool.
Rabbi Zecharia and Rivkah Phillips have been appointed as Youth Director Shluchim for Chabad of Contra Costa under Rabbi Dovber and Chaya Berkowitz and will be moving on Shlichus right after 9 Av.
“Chabad of Contra Costa has experienced tremendous growth and with the founding of our Gan Yiladim Preschool the need for additional Shluchim has become more evident” says Rabbi Dovber Berkowitz,
“Heeding the call of Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, head Shliach of the West Coast, to bring more Shluchim to CA in loving memory of Rabbi Tzemach Cunin OBM, we were fortunate to be able to finalize with the position on Beis Tammuz the first Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Tzemach Cunin and Erev Gimmel Tammuz.”
The Phillips’s will be taking over and further expanding CGI, C-Teen, Youth Clubs and developing further Youth Programs, in addition to enabling the opening of a much needed new classroom for the Gan Yeladim Preschool.
