Over 400 members of The Lubavitch community in Montreal, Canada, gathered Thursday night for Hei Teves farbrengen, celebrating the victory of the seforim.
Rabbi Shmuel Shuchat, director of Yagdil Torah moderated the event. Rabbi Moshe New, director of the Montreal Torah Center, read the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s kapitel.
Dayan Rabbi Berel Bell spoke on the connection between Didan Notzach and Hakhel. Rabbi Barak Hatzroni, shliach to the medical centers in Montreal, told about the special success in his shlichus during the Hakhel year.
Guest speaker Rabbi Yitzchok Raskin, Head Shliach of Vermont, spoke about the importance of traveling to the Rebbe during Hakhel. He also shared stories of his father, Rabbi Leibel Raskin‘s, shlichus in Morocco.
