Lauderhill Mayor Hosts Shluchim at October 7 Memorial

The gathering, hosted by Lauderhill Mayor Denise Grant, brought together members of the Jewish community and local supporters for an evening of remembrance, unity, and solidarity.
Representing Chabad of Inverrary, led by Rabbi Aron Lieberman, were his sons-in-law, Rabbi Levi Chanowitz and Rabbi Yossi Lebovics. Rabbi Chanowitz addressed the gathering with words of inspiration, while Rabbi Lebovics led the crowd in song.
Rabbi Yaniv Moryosef of the Moshiach Center also addressed the gathering, sharing a message of faith and hope.
The event was coordinated by Rabbi Chaim Rosenstein, Jewish Liaison for the City of Lauderhill, who also addressed the crowd and emphasized the importance of standing together against antisemitism.
“You don’t need to be Jewish to stand against antisemitism,” Rabbi Rosenstein declared.
Also delivering remarks were Mayor Grant and Evan Goldman of the Jewish Federation of Broward County, who spoke about the importance of remembering the victims and supporting the Jewish community.
The vigil concluded with a renewed commitment to honoring the memory of those murdered on October 7 and standing united against antisemitism.
