In honor of their graduation, students in Cheder Ohr Menachem’s oldest class prepared a full-on video production depicting how Tefillin are made with amazing footage of the different stages in producing Klaf, Batim, and Parshiyos, set entirely in Yiddish.

The presentation was on a subject extremely close to their heart as most of the students recently embarked on the journey of being a “Bar Chiyuva” and are now part of a minyan.

The script was prepared by Rabbi Avrohom Rainitz and Rabbi Chanoch Hecht. Menahel Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz and Vice Principal Rabbi Yossi Overlander oversaw the project.

A special thank you goes to all those who opened their Tefilin Batim and Safrus enterprises, Rabbi’s Yosef Altein and Mendel Altein for opening their factory, and to Rabbi Yitzchok Raskin of Machon Stam. Thank you for adding so much chayus and koch in bringing the learning to life!
