Head Shliach Calls to Help Orphaned Family

Last week, the Chabad community of Argentina was shocked by the tragic, unforeseen passing of Dov Drachman a”h at the age of 63 from cardio-respiratory arrest. Head Shliach Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt is calling on Chabad chassidim worldwide to support the orphaned family.

Last week, the Chabad community of Argentina was shocked by the tragic, unforeseen passing of Dov Drachman a”h at the age of 63 from cardio-respiratory arrest. As if he was able to see it coming, he spent his last week talking to family and friends, highlighting the good in each of them and bidding farewell with words of love. He spent his last Shabbos davening with indescribable Kavanah.

Dov was a kind person with a good heart. He began his journey of Teshuva back in 1987 together with his great friend Rab Aharon Peretz Stawsky a”h under the guidance of Rabbi Eliezer Shemtov in the city of Montevideo, Uruguay.

Together with his wife Malka, Dov Z”L built a beautiful family with strong Torah and Mitzvos values, for which he was always ready to give all he had and even what he didn’t have. Their 6 children were raised by Dov Z”L to love their fellow jews and to be unconditionally dedicated to them. Each one of the children is a devoted and committed Chassid who would take part in any Shlichus that may come their way, doing good to another, helping anyone in need.

Today Dov´s children depend on your help. With his departure, he left behind 5 children to marry, a family without their father, and with no financial support, in the midst of an unstable situation. We are sure that you will be able to help the family so that they have the means to continue forward.
