Shluchim, Anash and Tmimim gathered near the Rebbe’s Ohel for a spirited farbrengen with Rabbi Yoske Gopin, shliach in Connecticut, which continued until the early hours of the morning.
During the farbrengen, Rabbi Gopin spoke about what it means to experience Tishrei with the Rebbe, emphasizing that the Tishreis spent with the Rebbe are not merely memories of the past.
“Living Tishrei with the Rebbe is not history,” he said. “The Tishreis with the Rebbe are alive and enduring forever. That is what draws us to come here and continues to affect how we experience Tishrei today.”
Rabbi Gopin went on to vividly describe the Rebbe’s hakafos, sharing moving memories of the tremendous simcha of Simchas Torah with the Rebbe.
The farbrengen was organized by Hachnosas Orchim for the Tmimim spending Tishrei near the Ohel.
Also participating was Rabbi Eliyahu Kirshenbaum, mashpia at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Kfar Chabad, who was specially flown in by Hachnosas Orchim to accompany and guide the bochurim during the final two weeks of Chodesh Tishrei.
