Celebrating a year of growth and achievement, Crown Heights Women’s Circle is set to host a gala melava malka this Motzei Shabbos, featuring a lavish buffet, live music, exciting raffles, and a headline presentation by the mother-daughter duo Mrs. Molly Resnick and Mrs. Gillie Shanowitz.
The Crown Heights Women’s Circle presents its 13th annual gala melava malka this motzei Shabbos, parshas Va’era.
The evening celebrates a year of achievements and growth for this group of Crown Heights women. Featuring a lavish buffet, live music, and exciting raffles, this melava malka is already almost sold out.
Headlining the event is the mother-daughter duo, Mrs. Molly Resnick and Mrs. Gillie Shanowitz. The pair, on stage together for the first time, will talk about their unique connection with the Rebbe and how to raise children to be mentchen.
Mrs. Shanowitz recently set a global discussion in motion with an intriguing article she wrote about today’s Lubavitch teens. The piece hit a nerve and became the topic, and inspiration, in many homes.
Chinuch, of course, is a shared passion for the women of the Circle. Each Wednesday, mothers (and babies) gather to study a weekly sicha and discuss how to implement its lessons within their own families. Monthly evening events, yom tov programming, and a popular Shabbaton round out the year’s offerings of this very active Circle.
