Over 70 members of the Jewish community in Berlin, Germany, joined an inspiring trip to New York with Head Shliach Rabbi Yehuda Tiechtel, where they spent an uplifting weekend.

The trip, organized by Rabbi Dovid Tiechtel of Chabad Berlin, gave the participants a chance to experience a Shabbos in Lubavitch, a first for the vast majority of them.

Accompanying the group, besides for the senior and junior Tiechtels, were Rabbi Chaim Barkhan, shliach of Düsseldorf, Rabbi Levi Gottlib, shliach of Hanover, and Rabbi Avrohom Golavochev, shliach in Berlin.

The group visited the Rebbe’s Ohel and 770, davened in the Rebbe’s home and toured the Central Chabad Library, and spent Shabbos davening, learning and farbrenging in unison.

They also enjoyed lectures and talks from local and visiting speakers, and joined a melave malka in Chabad of Gramercy Park in Manhattan.

Participants left the Shabbaton inspired and uplifted, with many accepting upon themselves hachlatos to increase in Torah and mitzvos.
