At a unique panel for visiting Bochurim, London Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Lew, and his son Rabbi Yossi Lew of Peachtree City, Georgia recounted their distinct memories of Tishrei with the Rebbe in 770 through the decades.

Rabbi Shmuel Lew is the senior shliach to London, England, and a renowned educator who has served for over 45 years. Before moving to London, Rabbi Lew spent a number of years in 770, where he was present at many watershed moments in Chabad history.

After his marriage to Hindy, daughter of R’ Zalman Jaffe, who enjoyed a unique relationship with the Rebbe and Rebbetzin, Rabbi Lew and his family also began to have a close relationship with Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson.

As the grandson of R’ Zalman Jaffe, Rabbi Yossi Lew had the Zechus to be privy to experiences that most others couldn’t get to. He shared some of his personal memories and vast knowledge of the occurrences in 770 through the years.
