CTeen Members Had Their Own Tank in Manchester

On 11 Nissan, 6 Mitzvah Tanks went out to do Mivtza Pesach and Tefillin in key locations around Manchester, UK. One unique group was Cteen members who energetically did mivtzoim with a mitzvah tank outside the Tesco Supermarket.

On Wednesday, 11 Nissan, the Bochurim in Manchester arranged a massive drive for Mivtzoim as a present for the Rebbe’s Birthday. 6 Mitzvah Tanks went out to do Mivtza Pesach and Tefillin in key locations around town. 

Standing outside 4 supermarkets, S. Ann’s Square in City Centre and in the centre of Heaton Park, the Bochurim put on tefillin with close to thirty Yidden, distributed 409 boxes of matzah, sold many Yidden’s Chametz and distributed hundreds of Pesach leaflets.

The tanks then regrouped for a parade to spread the Rebbe’s Message across the city and to raise Pesach awareness. They were joined by the Mitzvah tank of neighboring Leeds, which brought the total of Tanks to 7.

One unique part was the Cteen Tank – a group of boys from Cteen who, together with their chaperones from the Cteen NY Shabbaton, spent the entire afternoon doing mivtzoim on a mitzvah tank outside the Tesco Supermarket. They put on tefillin with 10 Yidden and distributed over 120 boxes of Matzos. For many of those who encountered them, it was very exciting and moving to see the energy in which they invested themselves in the Rebbe’s Mivtzoim.
