The entire Yagdil Torah community in Montreal celebrated as five of its members reached a significant milestone by completing the study of Smicha under the guidance of Yagdil Torah director Rabbi Shmuel Shuchat.
The five members are Rabbis: Meir Hirsch, Daniel Natanblut, Yosef Elkabas, Shalom Wrubel, and Yossi Wolko. After years long of dedicated learning and fathers, they have successfully mastered the material.
Their success was celebrated with a festive Farbrengen, graced by esteemed Rabbonim, Shluchim, and Mashpiim, including guest speaker Rabbi Sholom B. Shuchat, Dayan and Rosh Kollel, who came in from Brooklyn.
Speakers at the event included, local rabbonim Rabbi Berl Bell and Rabbi Dovid Banon. Yagdil Torah director Rabbi Shmuel Shuchat congratulated the musmachim on their devotion to their learning and encouraged others to take lessons from them. Lastly, each one of the musmachim came up and shared what the experience meant to him.
Their commitment to limmud haTorah inspired fellow members to take on additional commitments in learning and succeed – yagata umatzasa taamin!
