Hundreds of Chassidim, temimim and mekuravim spent an uplifting Shabbos at the Chabad House and central shul in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, located just minutes from the tziyun of Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father.

The guests, most of whom arrived from the United States, with others coming from Eretz Yisroel and across Europe, joined farbrengens led by the city’s chief shliach, Rabbi Yeshaya Cohen, together with visiting mashpi’im.

Chabad mosdos across Kazakhstan are preparing for the arrival of hundreds of additional guests on Sunday and Monday, and will assist them with accommodations and everything needed throughout their stay.
