The Brownsville Anash community celebrated the joyous day of Lag B’omer with a marching band parade, BBQ, bounce house, bonfire, face paint, and balloons.

“The streets were once again filled with Jewish pride,” said event coordinator Rabbi Yossi Overlander.

The parade was arranged by Rabbi Overlander, and the bbq was hosted by the Rimler family, and sponsored by Shterna Moshiach.

The parade was led by the Ohr Menachem marching band and by Rabbi Yudele Pevzner in the Mitzva Tank.

Rabbi Levi Golomb ran BBQ, the rally was led by Rabbi Mendel Schtrocks, and Rabbi Yoni Lewkowicz led the parade.

Thanks were given to Levi Namirovsky for helping with logistics, to Mrs. Ayala Moshiach for bringing balloons, and to Mrs. Rivky Solomon and Mrs. Bruchstat for helping to organize food.
