On Sunday, anash in Baltimore gathered for a shiur reviewing the halachos of Taharas Hamishpocha with Rabbi Tuvia Kasimov, a moreh hora’ah in Crown Heights and author of a sefer on dinei taharah titled Divrei Tohar.
The shiur was followed by a Q&A session where participants had the opportunity to ask their questions anonymously.
“It was a great shiur, very clear and informative,” one of the organizers of the event said. “We got a lot of great feedback, and participants really enjoyed it.”
The shiur was a project of Baltimore Anash, a growing Chabad community in Maryland with multiple shuls whose members joined in this shiur.
“Over time people can forget these important halachos, so a review is very important. The delivery was extremely clear and very pleasant to listen to, and the q&a were very informative,” Rabbi Yossi Shanowitz, a teacher in the Cheder told Anash.org. “I am already looking forward to similar events in the future.
“It was a very impressive event both in the quantity of the crowd and quality of how it was arranged. Rabbi Kasimov presented clearly and engaged the crowd. It was enjoyable to simply spend an evening immersed in Torah,” another participant said.
The shiur was sponsored l’iluy nishmas R’ Boruch Avraham ben Binyamin HaKohen Gross a”h by his family, and R’ Shimon ben R’ Menachem Shmuel Dovid HaLevi Raichik a”h, along with a few anonymous sponsors.
