Over 50,000 Jews from New York, across the USA, Europe, Eretz Yisroel, and around the world – including thousands of Shluchim – came to visit the Rebbe’s Ohel for Gimmel Tammuz. The lines stretched for hours, as Yidden from all walks of life waited in the intense heat to daven and connect.
With temperatures nearing 100°F and many fasting, Hatzalah responded to reports of fainting and heat exhaustion throughout the day.
Shortly after midday, a group of elderly Chassidim and veteran Shluchim entered the Ohel to read a Pan Kloli on behalf of all Chassidim. With tearful cries of “Ad Masai” over the bitter galus of 31 years (r”l), they begged for the immediate hisgalus of the Rebbe and the final Geulah.
