Weekly Voting and Magazine a Huge Hit in Hanachos Mivtza

One of the biggest highlights introduced this year by Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim as part of Mivtza Hanachos was the launch of two exciting new features that had Bochurim talking all week long: the Weekly Hanacha Voting and the Hanachos Magazine.

One of the biggest highlights introduced this year by Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim as part of Mivtza Hanachos was the launch of two exciting new features that had Bochurim talking all week long: the Weekly Hanacha Voting and the Hanachos Magazine.

The new additions brought a whole new energy to the Mivtza, giving participants the chance not only to write their own Hanachos, but also to see, learn from, and vote on the work of fellow Bochurim from around the world.

Each week, a selection of outstanding Hanachos was published in the Hanachos Magazine, showcasing some of the strongest submissions received. Bochurim eagerly looked through the magazine to see which Hanachos had made the cut, gaining exposure to a wide range of insights and perspectives on the Rebbe’s Farbrengens while appreciating the effort invested by fellow participants.

Then came one of the most anticipated moments of the week.

Every Friday, voting was sent out by SMS, allowing participants to vote for the strongest Hanacha in their grade. Bochurim without access to phones were able to submit their votes through local Shluchim, ensuring that everyone could join in.

The voting quickly became a sensation.

Bochurim looked forward to it all week, discussing the featured Hanachos, trying to predict the winners, and cheering on friends whose work had been selected. The excitement only grew as the weeks went on and participants followed the results from round to round. Winning Hanachos advanced to the final competition, earning their place at the highly anticipated Hanachos Final Event.

The magazine and voting transformed the experience for many participants. Instead of simply submitting a Hanacha and moving on, Bochurim became invested in the broader Mivtza, reading through fellow participants’ work, comparing approaches, and picking up ideas that helped strengthen their own Hanachos.

The friendly competition added an extra layer of excitement while encouraging higher-quality submissions and greater involvement throughout the program.

Now, all eyes are on the Hanachos Final Event, taking place this Thursday, Gimmel Tammuz, where hundreds of Bochurim from across the world will gather to celebrate months of dedication and hard work. The finalists whose Hanachos advanced through the weekly voting rounds will compete live, while participants will enjoy an inspiring program, recognition of outstanding achievements, and the unique atmosphere that has made Mivtza Hanachos a highlight of the Yeshiva year.

Now in its eighth year, Mivtza Hanachos continues to raise the bar, helping hundreds of Bochurim connect with the Rebbe’s Farbrengens in a meaningful and lasting way.

As the Mivtza came to a close, many participants pointed to the Hanachos Magazine and Weekly Voting as some of the most enjoyable additions yet — features that brought tremendous excitement, sparked discussion across Yeshivos, and gave Bochurim something special to look forward to every single week.

With the excitement of the weekly voting culminating at this Thursday’s grand finale, anticipation is at an all-time high as participants prepare to see which Hanachos will be crowned the winners and to join hundreds of fellow Bochurim for what promises to be a memorable and inspiring Gimmel Tammuz event.
