Over forty bochurim from seven yeshivos recently took part in in a Yeshivas Bein Hazmanim program, recently launched by the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim.
The five days, Crown Heights-based program took place from 6-10 Nissan and provided bochurim with an environment in which to learn in during the yeshiva break and prepare for the auspicious day of Yud-Alef Nissan.
Nightly farbrengens were led by Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi, Rabbi Moshe Wolberg, and Rabbi Yisroel Deren. An enlightening presentation was given by Rabbi Elkanah Shmotkin, Director of JEM, on the Rebbe’s stance on fighting Anti Semitism, based on the recently published farbrengen of Yud-Alef Nissan 5733. The bochurim also enjoyed an insightful shiur on a Michtov Klali by Rabbi Shlomo Kaplan, rosh yeshiva in Oholei Torah Zal.
The Yeshiva offered a beis medresh in a central Crown Heights location fully stocked with seforim and refreshments, and Rabbi Hertzel Pewzner of Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim in Morristown was on hand to answer questions and provide guidance. Sleeping accommodations and three daily meals were provided.
