Sholem Dovber Benchimol, the 17-year-old son of Rabbi Yossi and Devorah Benchimol of Florida, tragically passed away after being struck in a bike accident earlier this week.
Sholem Dovber Benchimol, the 17-year-old son of Rabbi Yossi and Devorah Benchimol of Florida, passed away on Thursday morning, 6 Iyar 5780.
His parents serve as leaders of Beit Rambam, an Orthodox Sephardic Latin Shul in Sunny Isles, Florida.
Sholem graduated the Lubavitch Educational Center (LEC) in Miami Beach and was now learning in the Scheck Hillel Community School in North Miami Beach.
This past Sunday, Sholem went for a bike ride during which he was struck by a vehicle.The accident placed him in a coma, and his family and friends davened for his recovery. Tragically, he passed away today.
