The son and son-in-law of the Satmar Rebbe of Williamsburg were transported to Hackensack University Medical Center after being severely injured in a car accident on Sunday night.
Rabbi Mendy Kaminker, who serves as the shliach to Hackensack, NJ, and the Hackensack University Medical Center, a nationally ranked hospital with a world-class trauma center, later met with the Satmar Rebbe and his entourage to offer any assistance.
Six people, including the son and son-in-law of the Satmar Rebbe of Williamsburg Harav Zalman Leib Teitelbaum, were injured in a car accident outside of Camp Nachlas Aharon Sunday night.
Catskills Hatzalah transported all of the victims to the hospital in stable condition. two were in moderate condition, and four were mildly injured.
The Satmar Rebbe, who was nearby in Machana Divrei Yoel, was quickly taken to the scene to tend to his family members.
