Located in Medzhybizh, Ukraine, where the Baal Shem Tov lived and is buried, the shul stands at the site of the original shul where the Baal Shem Tov davened and taught his students. The original Shul was destroyed by the Nazis but an exact replica was rebuilt in its place based on photographs taken before the war.
