Rabbi Tzvi Shpalter, an architect from Jerusalem who was an expert in the construction of mikvahs, passed away on Shabbos, Iyar 12, 5781.
Rabbi Tzvi Aryeh Shpalter, a well-known architect and Chabad chossid from Jerusalem who was an expert in the construction of mikvahs, passed away.
He was 74 years old and battled a terrible illness.
Rabbi Shpalter was born in Austria on the 3rd of Elul 5706 to R’ Ephraim and Chana Shpalter.
He worked in the field of architecture and was an expert in mikvahs. Throughout his lifetime he served as an architect for the construction of many mikvahs.
He is survived by his chidren, Rabbi Yehuda Shpalter – Eilat Israel; Rabbi Nosson Shpalter – Eilat, Israel; Mrs. Shira Bertov – Balfouria, Israel; Mrs. Rochel Rosenfeld – Jerusalem, Israel; Mrs. Shlomit Gol, Moscow, Russia.
The levaya took place Motzei Shabbos, with the burial on Har HaZeisim.
The family is sitting shiva at the home of his daughter, the Rosenfeld family in Jerusalem, 23 Hatzefira Street.
