The Town of Surfside, home to ‘The Shul of Bal Harbour,’ lowered its flags to half-staff today to honor Rabbi Sholom Ber Lipskar, founding rabbi of The Shul and The Aleph Institute, who passed away on Shabbos. The flags will remain lowered until the conclusion of shiva.
