In honor of the auspicious day of Hei Teves, celebrating the redemption of the seforim –‘Didan DehaSeforim Notzach,’ Agudas Chassidei Chabad-Lubavitch will be holding a Seudas Yom Tov and Farbrengen this Thursday, 5 Teves, at Beis Rivka Lefferts.

Each night in New York, as the 36-foot menorah’s flames increased, attendees honored the memory of Rabbi Eli Schlanger, embodying his own words on combating rising antisemitism: “Be more Jewish, act more Jewish and appear more Jewish.”

Having created unique menorahs made of coins, cans, recycled phones, lava lamps, sweets, chocolate, and even their famous whisky menorah, this year’s menorah at Chabad of Essex, UK, was a six-foot menorah made of sushi, enjoyed by the more than 150 guests.

Shliach Rabbi Lazer Gurkov farbrenged for hours, inspiring attendees to take on hachlotos tovos, while a mivtzoim table encouraged sharing menorahs throughout Chanukah.

Hundreds gathered in Dublin’s Herzog Park on the second night of Chanukah, to watch shliach Rabbi Zalman Lent kindle a large public menorah, lighting up the winter night in a defiant show of Jewish pride.
