Mrs. Pesia Levertov, resident of Crown Heights and matriarch of a large Chabad family, passed away on Sunday, 16 Adar I 5784. She was 93 years old. She is predeceased by her husband Rabbi Sholom Levertov.
She is survived by her children Rabbi Zalman Levertov (Phoenix, Arizona), Mrs. Bella Vilenkin (Crown Heights), Mrs. Yehudis Lieberman (Ashkelon), Rabbi Berel Levertov (Crown Heights), Mrs. Devora Leah Dechter (Crown Heights), Shaul Levertov (Crown Heights), Rabbi Yossi Levertov (Scottsdale, Arizona), and siblings Mrs. Sara Dubinsky and Rabbi Shmerel Pruss, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren around the world
The levaya will be held on Monday 12:00 PM at 770 Eastern Parkway, 1:00 PM at the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, New York.
They family will be sitting shiva at 808 Montgomery St, Brooklyn, NY 11213
Four minyanim will be held daily for Shacharis at: 7 am, two at 7:30 am, and 8 am. Mincha will be held at 5:30 pm followed by Maariv.
Shiva hours will be from 9:30-12, and from 2:00-9:30.
The family requests please no visitors between 12-2.
