Mrs. Goldie Shifrin, a longtime Crown Heights resident who was an active member of the Crown Heights Mikva and Chevra Kadisha passed away on Motzei Shabbos, Yud Alef Nissan, 5780.
Mrs. Goldie Shifrin, a longtime Crown Heights resident, passed away on Motzei Shabbos, Yud Alef Nissan, 5780.
She was 73 years old.
Mrs. Shifrin was an active member of the Crown Heights Mikva and Chevra Kadisha of Crown Heights. She was also a Kallah teacher, who taught many Kallahs.
She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Hirschel Shifrin and children Sara Steinmetz – Sarasota, Florida, Zev – Thousand Oaks, California, Eli – Little Neck, NY, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will pass 770 at 1pm, Crown and Albany at 1:05.

Such a wonderful person. Never hurt anyone!!! Always saw the good in people and a great sense of humor. She missed the Rebbe very much.
Among her other talents she had a chush in math and knew exactly how many days since gimimel tammuz. And she passed on the Rebbe’s birthdate!
