Mrs. Devorah Liberow, wife of yblch”t Rabbi Shalom Dovber Liberow of Brunoy, France, passed away on Tuesday, just weeks before her 87th birthday. She leaves behind a large family of Chassidim and Shluchim around the world.

Mrs. Devorah Liberow, wife of yblch”t Rabbi Shalom Dovber Liberow of Brunoy, France, passed away on Sunday, just weeks before her 87th birthday. She leaves behind a large family of Chassidim and Shluchim around the world.

Mrs. Liberow was known for her devotion to Torah, Chassidus, and her support of her husband’s decades-long service to the Brunoy Lubavitch community. Together, they raised a family deeply dedicated to the Rebbe’s shlichus.

She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Shalom Dovber Liberow, and children: Rabbi Menachem Mendel Liberow – Porto Alegre, Brazil; Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Liberow – Barranquilla, Colombia; Mrs. Rivka Glauberman – Lod, Eretz Yisroel; Mrs. Matil Yani – Brunoy, France; Mrs. Esther Yarmush – Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Canada; Mrs. Sarah Engel – Montreal, Canada; Mrs. Rachel Shapiro – Paris, France; Mrs. Chana Levenhertz – Kfar Chabad; Mrs. Chaya Lipsh – Kfar Chabad; Mrs. Nechama Barnes – Kfar Chabad; Rabbi Yeshaya Liberow – Paris, France; and Rabbi Mendy Avraham – Paris, France.

She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many of whom serve as shluchim around the world.

The family is sitting shiva at the Liberow house in Brunoy, France.
