Isru Chag was going to be the day to clean up the Mivtzoim Shop from the Sukkos mivtzoim activities. Earlier in the week, hundreds of girls came through to pick up Lulavim and Esrogim, bringing the mitzvah to thousands of yidden over Chol Hamoed, and the place needed to be put back in order.
Instead, the Mivtzoim Shop at Lubavitch Youth Org. became a command center and hub of activity. It turned out to be more hectic than ever before.
As Chassidim, we know the Rebbe’s response at times of distress in Eretz Yisrael has always been to increase in simcha, mitzvos and mivtzoim. Lubavitch Youth is here to provide the Rebbe’s soldiers with the ammunition needed to fight this war.
Since the war started, the shop, located on 305 Kingston Avenue, has been buzzing with activity. Orders in quantities of hundreds and even thousands have been coming in from around the United States. Girls and women, heading out to conquer the world with mitzvos, have been streaming in to pick up supplies. Shluchim have been coming to buy out the store. Phones have been constantly buzzing with people who want to be involved.
Monday night, directly after the rally on Eastern Parkway, tens of women gathered to pack neshek kits for the Rebbe’s soldiers going out the next day. The gathering quickly turned into a farbrengen as girls shared sichos, inspiring messages and mivtzoim stories, leaving participants with a strong feeling of bitachon and simcha. In just 2 hours, 1,800 boxes of neshek were ready and waiting to go. By the next afternoon, all of them were on their way to light the homes of Jewish women all over the country!
But it doesn’t stop there. Waves of orders have been coming in from all directions and so another major neshek packing event was scheduled for the next night, where another 1,150 were packed.
In the coming days, the demand for Mivtzoim supplies is expected to exponentially increase. Everyone is needed to join in the spiritual war efforts. As one girl said while she packed neshek to take to Manhattan, “Either I enlist in the IDF, or I take this army seriously!”
How you can enlist:
- Order Neshek boxes online at themivtzoimshop.com for pickup or shipping within the USA. Every order for 200 neshek boxes or more will receive an additional 100 neshek boxes and guides added for free. (No need to put in any codes.)
- Stop by at the Mivtzoim Shop to pick up Mivtzoim supplies: Neshek (up to a certain amount free), Ois B’sefer Torah brochures, and coins for tzedakah are available for free. Other supplies are available for purchase.
- Women and girls – join a neshek packing event! Packing events take place in the Levi Yitzchak Library on Thursdays, 6-8 PM, and will be occurring more often due to demand. Sign up to our Whatsapp Status to receive updates. Send a message “Subscribe!” to 845 393 1951.
- Donate to the Mivtzoim Shop to enable us to continue supplying the Chabad community with all that is needed. Donations can be made via PayPal to [email protected], cashapp to $themivtzoimshop, or cash.
May the mind-blowing amounts of neshek and mivtzoim being done in these days lead to mind-blowing miracles, and to the miracle we are all waiting for, the complete and imminent Geulah!
