Montreal Boys Gift the Rebbe 7,349 Lines of Tanya Baal Peh

Rabbi Schneur Zalman Hendel’s Kitta Gimmel in Montreal, comprised of just 19 boys, memorized for Yud Alef Nissan a staggering 7,349 lines of Tanya Baal Peh, averaging 386 lines of Tanya memorized per student, the most by any Kitta Gimmel class worldwide.

In a remarkable display of dedication, Rabbi Shneur Zalman Hendel’s Kitta Gimmel class has achieved an extraordinary feat, mastering an incredible amount of Tanya Baal Peh. The 19 Talmidim in Rabbi Hendel’s class, driven by a profound desire to give the Rebbe nachas on his upcoming 123rd birthday, collectively reviewed a staggering 7,349 lines Baal Peh, the most Tanya Baal Peh by any Kitta Gimmel class worldwide!

This monumental accomplishment equals to an astounding average of 386 lines of Tanya memorized per student.

Rabbi Hendel, a dedicated Kitta Gimmel Rebbi in YTTL Montreal, used various means to keep the Talmidim motivated, celebrating many milestones along the way with ice cream parties, popcorn parties and more. He expressed immense pride in his Talmidim’s accomplishment.

This remarkable achievement by Rabbi Hendel’s class serves as a powerful example of the potential of young minds when guided by dedicated teaching.
