With Machon Lemaan Yilmedu’s year coming to an end, exams were taken by students in the Semicha, Hilchos Shabbos, Shechita, and Safrus programs. Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Marlow, rov of Anash in North Miami Beach, Florida, tested in Crown Heights and left impressed with the students’ knowledge.
The school year at Machon Lemaan Yilmedu is coming to an end. Last week, exams were taken by students in the Semicha, Hilchos Shabbos, Shechita, and Safrus programs.
The students who live in Crown Heights were tested by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Marlow, Rav of the Chabad community in North Miami Beach, Florida. The students who don’t live in the area had a test over Zoom, given by Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, Mara d’Asra and member of the Badatz of Crown Heights, and Rabbi Dovid Refoel Banon, Rav and Dayan in the Chabad community in Montreal. Rabbi Marlow, who came especially to Crown Heights to administer the test, was impressed by the students’ level of knowledge. He encouraged them to continue investing in learning halacha and reviewing it.
The menahel, Rabbi Chaim Yisrael Wilhelm, is pleased with the progress of the students this year and noted the high level of knowledge they displayed.
