It’s important to constantly relive and celebrate moments such as Zos Chanukah 5778. That nes was a powerful reminder that when we have Emunah and Bitachon in Hashem, He will surely send our yeshuah, even when we are the few or the weak, with no hope of victory in the natural way of things. And we need reminders, not to mention guidance in how to live lives guided by that Emunah and Bitachon.

We all need yeshuos.

Learning – and reminding ourselves – to see Hashem’s hand in our lives gives us the clarity and fortitude to proceed as a Yid ought. It is also itself a zechus through which we merit to see nissim. By correctly attributing our salvation to Hashem we become, the Maharal writes, the kind of people for which Hashem wants to do miracles.

Last year’s celebration left a powerful impression on the over 1,500 attendees. The main portion of the event – words of chizuk and divrei Torah – was insightful and thought-provoking and the subsequent panel discussion addressed frequently asked questions and questions posed specifically for the panel, shedding new light on how to bring the clarity and strength of bitachon to bear on real-life, everyday situations.

As one attendee put it, ”The splashy celebrations are usually about victory over external enemies or salvation from extraordinary situations, but the strength and the victory we find in Hashem and the Torah apply just as surely to our inner struggles and to our mundane challenges.”

“This event inspired me to begin a new shiur in Shaar HaBitachon, which really changed the way I approach all aspects of my life. I must say, that I’ve seen practical yeshuos in my life over the past year and I attribute it all to my strengthened Emunah and Bitachon.”

This is one of the main goals of the organizers – to strengthen the study and practical application of the principles of Torah as laid out in Shaar HaBitachon and other Torah sources. The past year has seen an explosive increase in the study of Shaar HaBitachon both for men and for women, and we’re sure this year’s event will have an even greater impact.

Last year’s inspiration was accompanied by niggunim at times heartfelt and stirring and at times joyous and uplifting. This year’s event will feature music by Yossi Cohen and stirring niggunim by Isaac Honig which will surely elevate the spirit.
