The Lubavitcher community of Kingston, PA, joined together for a Siyum Harambam with addressed by locals and by Rabbi Chaim Chazan of Monsey, NY.
The Lubavitcher community of Kingston, PA, gathered last week for a grand Siyum Harambam.
The Siyum was held in the Bais Moshe shul, with a catered seudas mitzvah by Kingston Kosher.
Emceeing the evening was Rabbi Mendy Majeski, and opening remarks were offered by shliach Rabbi Zvi Perlman.
The Siyum was made by Rabbi Mendel Hershkop, who noted that the evening would also be serving as an official chanukas habayis for the stunning men’s mikvah which recently opened in the community.
Starting the new cycle of learning was Rabbi Itzick Yarmush, followed by a hadran and warm words of Torah. Rabbi Zushe Wilmowsky offered words of encouragement, and Rabbi Shneur Tarlow delivered a dvar Torah.
The keynote address was delivered by guest speaker Rabbi Chaim Chazan of Monsey, NY.
Following the official program and ma’ariv, Rabbi Chazan continued farbrenging with a crowd remaining for another few hours to take part.
