Three major exit polls predict a narrow win for the right in Israel, with the bloc led by Bibi Netanyahu receiving just enough seats to form a government.
Channel 13’s and Kan broadcaster (Channel 11)’s exit polls puts the Netanyahu-led right-wing / Charedi bloc on 62 seats in the 120-member Knesset. The outgoing coalition, led by Prime Minister Yair Lapid, is projected to win 54 seats. The polls by Channel 12 puts the bloc at a narrow 61 seats.
However, as Israeli exit polls are notorious for being unreliable, the numbers are expected to change as the count continues throughout the night. Final results may not be announced for a number of days.
