Hanachos Final Event to be Held Ahead of Gimmel Tammuz
After five weeks of watching Farbrengens, writing Hanachos, and preparing for Gimmel Tammuz, hundreds of Bochurim will gather on Thursday for the Hanachos Final Event, the culmination of the eighth annual Mivtza Hanachos, an initiative of the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim.
After five weeks of watching Farbrengens, writing Hanachos, and preparing for Gimmel Tammuz, hundreds of Bochurim will gather on Thursday this week for the Hanachos Final Event, the culmination of the eighth annual Mivtza Hanachos, an initiative of the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim.
Throughout the Mivtza, participants watched a series of ten carefully selected Farbrengen segments of the Rebbe, focusing on Hiskashrus, the role of a Rebbe, and the Rebbe’s continued guidance in the lives of Chassidim today. This year alone, Bochurim participating in the Mivtza accumulated more than 202,566 minutes of Farbrengens watched.
At the event, Bochurim from Yeshivos across North America and beyond will come together to watch the tenth and final video of the series before writing their final Hanacha, bringing to a close weeks of learning and preparation.
One of the most exciting additions to this year’s Mivtza was the introduction of Weekly Hanacha Voting. Each week, Bochurim voted for the strongest Hanachos submitted by their fellow participants, creating tremendous excitement throughout the program. The weekly winners advanced to the final round, where the top Hanachos from each Shiur will be reviewed by a panel of Mashpiim during the event itself, with the overall winners announced at the conclusion of the program.
Every Bochur who completed the Mivtza will receive a prize, recognizing the dedication and effort invested throughout the five weeks.
Rabbi Tzvi Altein, Director of Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim, said the true accomplishment of the Mivtza goes far beyond the prizes and recognition.
“When a Bochur spends week after week listening to the Rebbe’s Farbrengens, writing Hanachos, and thinking about the Rebbe’s message, something changes,” said Rabbi Altein. “The Hanachos Final Event celebrates the winners, but even more importantly, it celebrates the hundreds of Bochurim who invested time and effort preparing themselves for Gimmel Tammuz through the Rebbe’s Torah and Farbrengens.”
Fathers are invited to join their sons for the event, making it a fitting conclusion to weeks of learning, growth, and preparation leading up to Gimmel Tammuz.
The Hanachos Final Event is generously sponsored by Chabad of Martha’s Vineyard and Jewish Riverside Old Greenwich.
