A grand and uplifting Bar Mitzvah celebration took place at the Kosel for 26 Bar Mitzvah boys from families affected by acts of terror. The boys were gifted high-quality kosher tefillin, and met with Israel’s President Isaac Herzog and Chief Rabbi of Migdal HaEmek Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman.
A grand and uplifting Bar Mitzvah celebration took place on Monday at the Kosel for 26 Bar Mitzvah boys from families affected by acts of terror. The event was organized by an organization supporting victims of terror in collaboration with the Western Wall Heritage Foundation and Chabad of Tefen.
The highlight of the uplifting event was the presentation of brand-new, high-quality kosher tefillin to the boys, gifted by Rabbi Kuti Maidovnik, Shliach to Tefen and the surrounding area.
Immediately following the emotional distribution, the boys erupted into joyous singing and dancing together with the noted baal chesed, Shai Graucher, in the Western Wall Plaza, accompanied by live musical instruments. The celebration continued with a visit to the Western Wall Tunnels, where the boys enjoyed a lavish breakfast and an engaging performance by children’s star Tal Mosseri and the Pirchei Yerushalayim Choir.
The boys were later welcomed at the residence of the President of Israel, Mr. Isaac Herzog, for an inspiring event where they met with the President, who was visibly moved by the occasion. Minister of Welfare Yaakov Mergui also participated in the event. Additionally, the esteemed Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman, Chief Rabbi of Migdal HaEmek, a member of the Chief Rabbinate Council and President of the Migdal Ohr educational institutions, honored the boys with his presence, offering heartfelt words of blessing.
