In 5719, the Rebbe instructed the hanhala of 770 to have bochurim deliver shiurim to the yeshiva. 14 bochurim were chosen, 7 for nigleh and 7 for chassidus, including now-famous names such as Reb Yisroel Friedman a”h, Reb Mottel Chein a”h and yblch”t, Rabbis Avrohom Shemtov and Yitzchok Raitport.
Now, Igud Yeshivos is renewing that project, with online shiuim to be delivered by bochurim to their colleagues worldwide.
The first shiur will be today at 7pm and will be delivered by Motty Sirota from Yeshivas Lubavitch of Baltimore, and will be on the topic of הסיבה. Whether it’s its own mitzva or a feature of the Mitzva of Matza and four cups.
The new series will be introduced by Rabbi Michoel Seligson who will give an overview of the history and development of the institution of the ‘Kanim’ established by the Rebbe.
