With Pessach fast approaching, it was of primary importance for the Jewish community Chabad Berlin to make it possible for everyone to have a wonderful and kosher Passover despite the pandemic restrictions.
Weeks in advance, Chabad Berlin began preparing 1500 Maos Chitim packages with everything that goes with a Passover Seder.
The packages were filled with a wide assortment of food products and staples, including matzah, wine, and specialty items imported from Israel that enabled underprivileged families to celebrate the holiday joyfully.
“It was overwhelming to get so much help from our Kehillah and to see how strong the Berlin community is,” said Shliach Rabbi Yehuda Teichtal. “Tired, but happy and grateful, we supported needy families and retirees and hope they will have a wonderful Passover.”
