Members of the burgeoning Lubavitch community in East Flatbush marked Hei Teves with a grand farbrengen led by Rabbi Yitzchak Goldshmid, shliach to Valley Stream, NY, and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Holtzman, rov of the shul.
The farbrengen is the latest in a series of farbrengen held in the past month in honor of the numerous chassidishe yomim tovim.
In recent years the community has been experiencing explosive growth, with many families moving into the area. Once considered too far out to live, now boasts over 60 Yiddishe families, shuls, daily shiuirm, and a full-fledged community.
