This Tuesday night and Wednesday is Yud Shvat, the Frierdiker Rebbe’s Yartzeit and the day our Rebbe began his Nesius. From the first Farbrengen, the Rebbe taught us that this world is Hashem’s garden. Our Torah and Mitzvos make the world beautiful and prepare it for Moshiach.
Here are some ways to bring the spirit of this special day into your home and make it exciting for your family:
● Set up the table beautifully
● Light candles
● Add decor in the theme of a garden
● Place a picture of the Rebbe on the table
● Cut out flowers and write facts about the Rebbe on them
● Have grape juice and L’chaim cups ready
● Sing a Niggun of the Rebbe
● Share something from Basi liGani
● Give Tzedaka together to a cause related to the Rebbe
● Speak of the Rebbe’s love for every Yid, especially each child
● Play the game: name the 10 Mivtzoim
●Ask questions and share information about the Frierdiker Rebbe and our Rebbe
