With sadness, we regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Rivka Sheina Notik, the matriarch of a large family of Chassidim and Shluchim. She was 93 years old.
She was the daughter of the late mashpia Reb Saadia Liberow. During WWII the family escaped deep into Russia, where they survived under brutal conditions.
After WWII she married and lived in Yerres, France, where her husband Reb Sholom Ber Notik was a ShaDar for the Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim.
She is survived by her children Esther Hadassah Hertzel – Crown Heights, Avigail Notik – Paris, Kreina Devorah Hershkop – Crown Heights, Hirshel – Crown Heights, Mendel – Seattle, Moshe Shimon – Montreal, Shmuel – Beitar, Yosef Yitzchok – Paris, and Avrohom Zorach – Crown Heights.
She is also survived by her siblings Rabbi Shmuel Liberow – London, Rabbi Sender Liberow – Manchester, Rabbi Sholom Ber Liberow – Paris, Rabbi Schneur Zalman Liberow – Antwerp, and Mrs. Frieda Chana Zirkind – Montreal.
She was predeceased by her husband in 5762/2002, and by her daughter Shterna Sarah Partoush this year.
The Levaya will pass by 770 at 1:45pm today.
