On Motzei Shabbos, a large representation of the Alter Rebbe’s descendants gathered at the Gutnick Hall in Yerushalayim for their annual Melave Malka.

At the conclusion of Shabbos, hundreds of descendants of the Alter Rebbe gathered at the Gutnick Hall in Yerushalayim, for an annual melaveh malka which is held every year around Chof Daled Teves.
The evening began with a Dvar Malchus by Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi, rov of Kfar Chabad. Rabbi Ashkenazi read a letter that the Rebbe sent for the first gathering of the Alter Rebbe’s descendants.
The main address was delivered by Rabbi Chaim Sholom Deitch, Rosh Kollel Tzemach Tzedek, who focused on the theme of davening in accordance with the teachings of the Alter Rebbe.
At the conclusion of the evening, a raffle was held among the participants, for the zchus of representing all of the descendants on Chof Daled Teves at his ohel in Haditch and delivering panim on their behalf. The winner of the raffle was Rabbi Baruch Shalom Gottlieb of Kiryat Sefer.
