A Beautiful Mikvah for Bradenton

Chabad of Bradenton, Florida, led by Rabbi Mendy and Chani Bukiet, celebrated the opening of its brand new mikvah in memory of Rebbetzin Esther Bukiet a”h.

This past Sunday, Chabad of Bradenton, Florida, celebrated the opening of a beautiful new mikvah.

After a two and half year journey led by shluchim Rabbi Mendy and Chani Bukiet, the completed project puts an end to the need for community members to drive a half-hour to the closest mikvah and will b’ezras Hashem encourage many more people to observe Taharas Hamishpacha.

The crowd was a heartwarming collection of people, comprised of members of the Bradenton community, extended family of the Bukiets and local shluchim. Much simcha was brought to the occasion by a group of kollel yungeleit from Boro Park, who donated a substantial sum to the mikvah in the zechus of their friends who have yet to be blessed with children.

The undertaking was brought to success thanks to the help of MikvahBuilders and Mikvah USA. Mikvah USA, founded and directed by Rabbi Yitzchok Bistritzky, is a professionally structured organization with a Board of Directors, project managers, halachic consultants, construction consultants, fundraising staff, donor base and everything else necessary to bring a dream mikvah to fruition.

Mikvah Esther is built in loving memory of Rebbetzin Esther Bukiet a”h of East Flatbush, wife of Harav Chaim Meir Bukiet a”h, Rosh Yeshiva of United Lubavitcher Yeshiva.
