In a notice to the bochurim living at 1414 President St., the administration announced that due to the coronavirus outbreak in Crown Heights, the dormitory building and the cafeteria will be closed by this coming Monday. It will remain closed until further notice.
In communication with Anash.org, Rabbi Sholom Ber Brod confirmed the statement and suggested that students from abroad should return home. No mention was made for alternative accommodations in Crown Heights.
It is reported that over 50 bochurim have mild symptoms. Many of the students from overseas have already returned home.
