Young Shluchim Celebrate Lag Baomer with Live Parade

Over 300 young Shluchim and Shluchos from around the world joined live on Sunday for an incredible Lag Baomer parade by the Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim division of the Shluchim Office.

Over 300 young Shluchim and Shluchos from around the world joined live on Sunday for an incredible Lag Baomer parade by the Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim division of the Shluchim Office.

Before the parade, the young Shluchim and Shluchos had the opportunity to create their own floats to be featured in the parade. Over 30 floats entered were shown during the virtual parade, from lego creations to specialty cakes and decorated posters.

MC Avremi Rapoport kicked off the rally with words of inspiration applicable to the young Shluchim and Shluchos. The 12 Pesukim were recited by children from across the world and everyone gave Tzedaka in honor of Eretz Yisroel.

Shmulie Brackman, Schneur Baitelman, and Chanoch Vizel took the stage for a fun musical performance singing all the Young Shluchim hits. A grand float competition was held for all the floats submitted. Elky Hazdan, Moshe Lapine, and Sroli Super are the lucky winners receiving either a camera, drone or electric scooter.

“It was so special to see the joy and excitement on each child’s face during the rally,” said CYH director Rochel Goldman. “Being able to participate and celebrate together with fellow Shluchim and Shluchos is a powerful experience for each child.”

The Lag Baomer parade is a project of Chinuch Yaldei Hashluchim (CYH), a division of the Shluchim Office.
