Women’s Circle 14th Anniversary Melava Malka

On motzei Shabbos parshas Shmos, the Crown Heights Women’s Circle is opening its doors to all women for a melava malka, with talks by Ariella Kamen, who was born without a womb, shlucha Mrs. Matty Bryski, and Circle Ambassador Mrs. Pearl Rimler.

Ariella Kamen was born without a womb.

Her parents discovered this when she was a teenager undergoing some medical challenges. They chose to shield their young daughter from the devastating news and she didn’t learn the truth until she was 18, living the otherwise typical seminary-girl-in-Yerushalayim-dream.

She may have been born without a womb, but Ariella is equipped with very potent emuna.

With Hashem’s kindness and a groundbreaking uterine transplant, Ariella merited to have a baby girl last year. And now, she wants to share her story.

Please join us at the Crown Heights Women’s Circle’s 14th anniversary melava malka to hear Ariella’s journey and to be further inspired by shlucha Mrs. Matty Bryski and Circle Ambassador Mrs. Pearl Rimler. It is an evening you don’t want to miss and you won’t soon forget.

Pre-registration is now open! Register by Jan 1st and receive a complimentary auction ticket. Reservations are confirmed when payment is received. Reservations can be made here.

While the Melava Malka is one of the Circle’s signature annual events, it is by no means its only. Since 2012, dozens of Crown Heights women have gathered to learn the Rebbe’s sichos together every week. The class is free and open to all (including babies!). Check us out Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. at 580 Crown Street.

The Women’s Circle approaches its mission holistically, knowing that well-cared-for and inspired women impact their families and the community in incredible ways. Beyond the weekly learning, the Circle offers intimate round table evenings with Mrs. Ruda Heller, monthly RCS brunches with Mrs. Shaindy Jacobson, a highly-anticipated annual shabbaton retreat, and farbrengens throughout the year. The Circle also cares for its families during simchas and challenging times, with meals, funding as needed, and other means of tangible support. The women of the Circle are much more than friends, they have become a tight family, a community within the sometimes overwhelming and anonymous community of Crown Heights.

And then, of course, there is the popular (and groundbreaking) Imahos Ubanos targeting the next generation. Now active in 4 locations in Crown Heights and 5 more around the country, Imahos Ubanos brings together mothers and daughters for monthly learning programs. The mother-daughter pairs (or any combination!) learn together and enjoy treats and raffles in this welcoming and free program.

On motzei Shabbos parshas Shmos, January 10, at 8:30 PM at the Simcha Hall, the Circle is opening its doors to all women of Crown Heights. Join us for a delicious and thought-provoking melava malka celebrating 14 years of community and camaraderie.

Pre-register by January 1st at www.chwomenscircle.com/events for a guaranteed spot AND a complimentary ticket to one of our valuable raffles!
