This weekend, thousands of the Rebbe’s Shluchim from around the world will gather in New York for the annual Kinus Hashluchim, a weekend filled with workshops, lectures, seminars, and farbrengens – all aimed at strengthening their mission and receiving renewed kochos from the Meshaleach before returning to their posts across the globe.

The highlight of the Kinus will take place on Sunday, with the grand Gala Banquet, where Shluchim from every continent will come together in a powerful display of unity and inspiration.

This year’s banquet theme, “From Lubavitch to the World: The Mission of Shluchim Today,” will open with a special tribute to three pioneering Shluchim who passed away this year – trailblazers who paved the way for generations of shluchim: Rabbi Moshe Herson, Rabbi Avraham Korf and Rabbi Sholom Ber Lipskar, . Their children, Rabbi Mendy Herson, Rabbi Benjy Korf and Rabbi Zalman Lipskar – who continue their holy work- will follow with Tehillim.

The program will then continue with “Shlichus Through Fire and Water,” featuring Rabbi Yaakov Raskin of Jamaica, highlighting the courage and devotion of Shluchim serving in remote and challenging locations.

A special segment will follow, spotlighting the work of the shluchim who serve on the front lines, both in the US and the IDF, featuring Sgt. Ben Craig of the United States Marine Corps and shliach and U.S. Air Force Chaplain Rabbi Levi Pekar, as well as Rabbi Menachem Feldman and Rabbi Zamy Feldman of Nes Tziona, Eretz Yisrael – showcasing how the Rebbe’s mission reaches even the most distant and demanding settings.

A central highlight of the evening will be a Siyum Sefer Torah dedicated to the memory of Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky AH, beloved and longtime chairman of the Kinus Hashluchim.

The evening will culminate with the International Roll Call, uniting thousands of Shluchim representing more than one hundred countries, followed by spirited dancing and live music.

The banquet will take place on Sunday, with a pre-show at 1:00 PM led by Rabbi Heshy Epstein and Mr. Zev Jacobson, followed by the main program beginning at 2:00 PM.

The banquet will be streamed live on Anash.org.

  1. Its a wonder how
    Even after 34 years
    From that groundbreaking
    Sicha of the kinus
    In chaye sara nun beis

    We still havent learned it…

If you learn the sicha properly you
Will see that the rebbe elaborates
How we have from long already passed the beginning avoda of the shlichus, we are passed the middle of the avoda – until we have completed the shlichus !

And now begins the inyan of שלח נא ביד תשלח

And therefore, all of the avodas hashlichus must be permeated with the one and only goal – how do i prepare my city, and my country that they be ready to accept moshiach

I feel that if we learn this sicha אדעתא דנפשיה
We will have abundance of success

      1. What I think he is trying to say, is that , look, you have put together a nice and beautiful event, which is next level according to most standards.
However, our Rebbe, who is the one sending the Shluchim, told us 34 years ago that we have a very specific job, to actually welcome in moshiach.
And that is not mentioned here.

  2. He is suggesting on what is actually written in the article “This year’s banquet theme, “From Lubavitch to the World: The Mission of Shluchim Today”.

As the mission remains the same as in Nun Beis, the title should really be The Mission of the Shluchim. Lets keep focussed.

    Hatzlacha Rabboh!
